RAAF Operations - Vietnam (Vietnam War, 1 August 1964 to 25 April 1975)

About This Campaign

RAAF involvement in Vietnam began with a flight of De Haviland CC08 Caribou transport aircraft in 1964.

Subsequently additional resources were committed in the form of Canberra bombers, Bell UH1 Iroquois transport and gunship helicopters, support personnel at Ubon in Thailand and finally in 1975, C130 tranpsorts that evacuated the last remaining Australian personnel in Saigon.
