George LEWIS, son of A. L. LEWIS was born on 30th December 1917 at Longreach, Queensland

He married Sylvia CANNON on 19th June 1939 at Saint Andrew’s Church of England, Longreach, Queensland [ref 1939 / 002669]

Sylvia was born on 29th August 1914 at Brisbane, Queensland.

Daughter Sylvia Madge was born in Nov 1940

The 1959 Queensland Electoral Roll has George residing at 18 Lorimer Terrace, Kelvin Grove, with his occupation given as pilot and Sylvia residing at the same address, with her occupation given as home duties.

Sylvia died on 27th November 1987 at Brisbane, Queensland and was buried at the Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery on 30th November 1987, with Metropolitan Funerals handling the arrangements, age 73 years.

George died on 16th April 2000 at Brisbane, Queensland and was buried at the Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery on 19th April 2000, aged 82 years.
