Location

Situated in Brisbanes northern suburbs Albany Creek Memorial Park is approx a 25 min drive from the Brisbane CBD. It gets its name from the Albany Creek that runs near by in the suburb of Bridgeman Downs. 

History

The cemetery has been in operation since the early 1960s when the northern suburbs of Brisbane were in a growth period. 

To honour those who have served their country, Albany Creek Memorial Park maintains dedicated War Graves Walls and Cremation Gardens for former servicemen and women.

NOTE:  Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery & Crematorium -Graham Road- Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane Region, Queensland.  Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery (is a separate entity of business) to Albany Creek Memorial Park.  Easily confused, as they are both opposite each other.  Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery is managed and operated by the Brisbane City Council.
