Description

Erected circa 1916. A colourful wooden structure utilised as an interim until the permanent memorial was constructed in 1925. The left and right pillars recorded approximately 700 names of those who served from the district.

 

PECULIARITIES/DAMAGE: Removed and destroyed circa 1924 following a storm.
