Description

Brass Plaque

At the evening service at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hamilton, yesterday, there were unveiled an honour roll of 125 names, and to the memory of the late Gunner M. Harrie Carr-Boyd, a memorial tablet. The tablet was unveiled first. Colonel Ranclaud, in performing that ceremony, said he fell honoured by being asked to contribute in ever so small a way to honouring the memory of a young Australian soldier, who had fallen in his country's cause. War was a dreadful business, and terribly costly in human life.
