Grey Granite Obelisk

At Balmoral on Friday afternoon a monument that has been erected to memorialise the district soldiers who fell in the war was unveiled in the presence of a large assemblage. Cr. M. R. Wood presided, and the unveiling ceremony was performed by Mr. A. S . Rogers, M.H.R, Sir Walter Manifold M.L.C., and the Rev. J.L. King also delivered addresses.
