A large wooden board that is a part of two similar boards, the names from A to G. At the top is an AIF badge between the coloured flags of Australia and Britain, across the badge is a ribband. The board is divided into eight columns; at the top of the fourth to sixth columns is an inverted wreath with an inscription. At the base of the third column is an effigy of an RAN sailor standing at Arms Reversed on a stylised base superimposed with the symbol of the Medical Corps and at the base of the sixth column is an AIF soldier in a similar configuration. At the lower section of the fourth and fifth columns is a coronet with sunburst rays arising from its centre enclosed within a wreath and ribband with the words: THE PATH OF DUTY. Below this are the names of the members of the Army Nursing Service and a stylised shied with a red cross at its centre. All details except for the flags are in gold paint.
