KALGOORLIE CENTRAL SCHOOL HONOUR ROLL
The head teacher of the Kalgoorlie Central School, Mr. Poynton, is anxious to have the list of the old boys who enlisted for active service as correct as possible before
putting the names permanently on the honour roll He would be pleased if those concerned would notify him of any mistakes in the list given below, or forward any names omitted there from. The names of those, who made the supreme sacrifice are marked with an asterisk (*).

KALGOORLIE CENTRAL SCHOOL UNVEILING OF HONOUR ROLL.
In the presence of a very large attendance in the Kalgoorlie Town Hall yesterday afternoon, the Mayor of Kalgoorlie, Mr. B. Leslie, unveiled the Honour Roll containing the names of 375 ex-students of the Kalgoorlie Central School who had volunteered in the Empire's service.
The names are inscribed in gold script on a black: background, and the whole is surmounted with the words, 'Lest We Forget.' It is at once simple and impressive. A small star appears opposite several supreme sacrifice.
During the afternoon, Mr. Poynton, the headmaster of the Central School, announced that there was yet room on the board for the names of further ex-students who had enlisted. These would be added as they came to hand.
