Description

In the foyer of the Renmark Soldiers Memorial Hall. World War 2. An elaborate memorial comprising nineteen varieties of wood, it is made up of three panels with 800 names on individual wooden strips. The left and right panels contain five columns of names, the centre panel top contains the names of those who paid the Supreme Sacrifice, the lower section has the names of women's services and the continuation of the men's names. A description of the memorial is located in a glass-covered stand beside the memorial.
