Description

A highly ornamented memorial comprising capped two Ionic pillars outside of two Gothic pillars that support two carved figurines either side of a wreathed arch. The figure on the left depicts Britannia ready for war; the right depicts Britannia at peace. Within the arch is a carved representation of Britannia and followers beside the sea. On each of the Gothic pillars is a carved effigy of a wreath. The memorial is sited on a plain base; to the lower outside left is a brass maker's plate.
