Description	A large grey granite boulder with a cut and polished face, a bronze plaque is affixed to the face. UPDATE 19 August 2007: The memorial now also includes the representation of three cast Pita Palm seeds with one beginning to shoot on the paved area in front of the monument.

The plaque was redone by the request of Vietnam Veterans to include the names of all South Australian based military personnel killed in action. The new plaque was unveiled by Keith Payne V.C. on 18 August 2007.
