Description

The original WW1 memorial fountain was located at the entrance to Tresylva Park (West Terrace, Gladstone) and erected around 1916. It was a concrete fountain with a marble plaque affixed. The fountain was damaged beyond repair 1968 by vandals and the plaque was removed to a private residence for storage.

On the 26th of April 2015, The Hon. Rowan Ramsey M.P. Federal Member for Grey officiated at the rededicated following the rebuilding of the fountain.
