Description

A polished red granite memorial comprising an obelisk surmounted on a capped pedestal and two tier base. This is surmounted on a rough-cut granite block sur-base and two-tier concrete base and slab. At the base of the obelisk on each face are crossed rifles; all details are in gold leaf. Originally the memorial was mounted in the middle of the road junction, it has since been relocated on the northern side of Piccadilly Road.
