The memorial is made of brass. Motifs and lettering is engraved into the brass and then paint-filled.

The memorial comprises a rectangular skeleton or frame to which engraved panels have been attached.

The top horizontal panel which spans the full width of the memorial provides a header inscribed per the Inscription panel.

Beneath that are three adjacent vertical panels which list in surname and given name order those who served
