Description

Boyanup is a town on the South Western Highway in the South West agricultural region, 195 km south of Perth and 18 km south-east of Bunbury, Western Australia. The town is located on the Preston River.

The Boyanup War Memorial commemorates the 63 soldiers, including the 10 that fell, from Boyanup who served in World War One and the 9 who didn't return from World War Two.

The Memorial was moved to it's present location from in front of the post office in 1955 to Memorial Park, (Apex Park) South West Highway, Boyanup.
