White Marble (4 pillars with roof structure supporting seated mother)
Plinth in centre

Gatton and District War Memorial for WW1 erected by a Memorial Committee and funded by public subscription at a cost of a little over 500 pounds. At the laying of the foundation stone on 22 April 1922 it was said to be an expression of sympathy with the Mothers of the Fallen Soldiers. It bears the names of those who paid the supreme sacrifice in WW1 and subsequent wars.
