Description

On the right wall of the foyer at the main entrance to the Gawler RSL clubrooms. Wall of Honour. Twenty-one brass plaques surmounted by a white Cross of Sacrifice. Below the plaques is a marble stone. The plaques were originally affixed to small concrete blocks beneath specially planted trees at the original Gawler RSL clubrooms in Cowan Street behind Light Square. The plaques commemorate those from the Gawler District killed whilst on Active Service.
