SOUTH WANGARATTA.
A large handsome solid blackwood mahogany honor Board has just been presented to the school by Mr John Law, "Kilburnie." It is 5ft. 6in. by 3ft. 6in., and the space for the inscribing of names is 2½ ft. by 2ft. The generous donor gave it on behalf of his son, Pte. W. Law, who has been 2½ years at the front, a former pupil, and as an appreciation of the school head teacher (Mr. F. W. Powell). This patriotic example will be beneficially followed in other districts.
Wangaratta Chronicle (Vic), 16 March 1918.
