The memorial commemorates those who lost their lives in both World Wars. Construction of the blue granite memorial started in March 1951.
The blacked out name, according to the Dalwallinu Shire & RSL, - the name was blacked out because the person had no links to Dawallinu at all, it was error in putting it on there.
