Description	Grey granite obelisk surrounded by 4 marble pillars on 3 step platform The Corryong soldiers' memorial was unveiled by the Rev. J. R Crookston of Melbourne. There was a large attendance. Dr. Greenham, president of the branch of the Returned Soldiers' League, Cr. G. K. Jephcott and Cr. C. H. Waters also spoke. After the ceremony a collection was made to provide money for the formation of a garden around the memorial and more than £150 was obtained. A luncheon was given to relatives of fallen soldiers.
