Description

A polished grey granite memorial comprising an obelisk surmounted a capped pedestal and two-tier sur-base and a concrete block and slab. The monument is enclosed within a cement tapered post and chain fence. All details are in white.

Built Wunderlich Ltd.
Opened 1 September 1917 by The Chairman of the District Council (Mr.A. E. I. Smythe) presided, and the councillors and clerk, also members of the district, were present. The expense is borne by the District Council of Alma, and cost over £20. Kapunda Herald (SA), 7/9/1917.
