Description

Hall, two bronze plaques, a marble plaque and bronze insignia of the armed services, (from left to right; RAN, AIF, RAAF, MN), are affixed to the front of the building. A granite foundation stone is set to the right of the North Street entrance. Inside the building under the dome is a crypt, in the right wall of the crypt is a stained glass window, underneath the window is a recess with a brass Honour Board. On the facing wall that was once a doorway, is a large Honour Board. On the left wall are two Honour Boards; interspersed amongst the honour boards are framed photographs

DESCRIPTION: A stained glass window depicting a soldier on his knees below an effigy of Christ with a crown in his hands. On either side are ionic columns with two shields and the flags of Australia and Britain. At the top of the window is an arch and at the base is a scroll.
