Description

A Boer War memorial, a white marble memorial comprising an obelisk surmounted on a pedestal and two-tier sur-base that in turn is mounted on a granite and concrete slab. At the top of the obelisk is the effigy of a hand holding a rose and dropping three single roses down the obelisk shaft. The monument is enclosed within a low post and rail fence. At the base is the mason's name. All details are in black. The area is paved with red pavers.
