Description

At the front of the Soldiers' Memorial Hall are two large, white marble tablets. The one on the eastern side of the building (left-hand side) has three columns, for all those that served in 'the Great War' 1914 - 1919; while the western tablet (right-hand side) only has one column, and is for those that died in the War. The Memorial Hall was also opened the day that these tablets were unveiled, 11th May, 1921
