Entrance to the Karoonda Sporting Oval. Two concrete pillars attached to a concrete fence with two wrought iron gates. Two black marble plaques are affixed to each pillar.

Right plaque:

Effigy of a Cross of Sacrifice on a three-tier base, to the left of the cross, on the top and second tier with their backs towards the cross are a soldier and an airman standing at "Rest on Arms Reversed". To the right of the cross on the top and second tier is a sailor standing with "Arms reversed" and a nurse with their backs towards the cross, the nurse is standing with head bowed.
