Description

Bronze statue of a soldier with rifle at the "On guard" stance, left foot forward. It is mounted on a polished granite pedestal, which in turn is mounted on a three tier rough-cut granite and concrete slab base. Bronze plaques are affixed to the front, left and right faces. On top of the front and right plaques is a bronze wreath; on the base of the slab is a bronze plaque. The monument is set in front of a brick construction commemorative wall with a brass plaque-
