Description

The memorial has been expanded to include five pillars which were unveiled in 1984 to commemorate other conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The Boer War plaques were placed on the memorial on Anzac Day 1998.

Additional features honour serviceman from the RAAF and the Women's services. Memorial gates are at the entrance to the park and lead to the war memorial.
