Description

A little-known timber honour board with a list of 14 Petersham railways employees who served in WWI. It has a timber split pediment, blue painted scrolls and gilt lettering.

The board was unveiled by Mrs Gould, the Station Master's wife in 1916 (SMH 27/11/1916). It is mounted within a larger protective timber and glass case and currently hangs on the inside wall of the ticket office at Petersham Station. It lies within the heritage listing boundary of the Petersham Railway Station Group.
