MEMORIAL: Monument

LOCATION: Smith Street

ORIENTATION: East

DESCRIPTION: A white Italian marble statue of a WW1 digger standing at ease with a tree stump support behind the right leg, the statue is surmounted on four capped white marble columns that in turn are mounted on a pedestal of red Taranta Granite and three tier Footscray grey granite base. All details are in black, white marble plaques are affixed to base.
