Details

Location St Peter's Anglican Church, 35-37 Draper Street, Ocean Grove , Victoria, Australia
Type honour_roll
Description

Small wooden honour board with peaked top flanking a carved wooden cross. Names are painted in gold lettering and are enclosed in a carved arch. A small engraved plaque is attached to the bottom.

A handsome honor roll, presented by Mr. and Mrs. W. Pacey, was unveiled and dedicated by the Rev. T. Quinton, in St. Peter's Church of England, Ocean Grove, last Sunday afternoon. The roll contains the names of 12 soldiers, all of whom have returned safely from the war. A collection made towards painting the church was very liberally responded to. Mr Hawkes, of Hawkes Bros., has provided the paint required.
Geelong Advertiser (Vic), 4 November 1919.
