MEMORIAL: Monument

LOCATION: West Terrace

ORIENTATION: East

DESCRIPTION: A white marble statue of a soldier standing at attention with a tree trunk supporter behind the right leg mounted on a capped pink granite and two-tier grey granite pedestal. Each corner of the pedestal is recessed with red granite columns and grey granite caps. This is mounted on a stepped five tier granite base and concrete slab. The monument is enclosed within a white metal fence; a bronze plaque is located on a metal stand inside the fence.
