Description

A white marble statue of a soldier standing at attention supported behind the left leg with a tree stump; is surmounted on a capped pillar that in turn is mounted on a three-tier pedestal and granite base. The monument is enclosed within a wrought iron fence inside a reserve containing rose beds; the red roses were imported from France.
