Description | Hall, a white marble foundation stone is set in the right wall of the foyer. In 1924 the former Civic Hall was rebuilt and named the Soldiers Memorial Hall. It was gutted by fire in 1934. A newly completed replacement hall was opened in 1936. At the time of photograph which was taken in 1927 the Port Lincoln Institute Memorial Hall was a white rendered two storey sandstone building with two entrances from the street. |
