Description | Eyre Park. A red polished granite panel wall in three angles, surmounted by a stainless steel Cross of Sacrifice. On the arm of the cross-LEST WE FORGET. The monument set on a dais of pavers and bricks. Steps lead up to the monument divided by a stainless steel handrail. In front of the handrail is a white marble block with a red granite tablet affixed to the top depicting a map of the world showing the countries where the Australian Defence Forces have been in conflict. |
