Port Pirie Gates WW II

MEMORIAL: Gates

LOCATION: Memorial Drive (formerly Norman Street)

ORIENTATION: North

DESCRIPTION: A cream brick structure comprising a covered entrance with three uneven towers on the right entrance. Two brick walls at either side contain bronze plaques and titles. A grey granite foundation stone is set on the inside of the tallest tower and a brass plaque is affixed on the face of the centre tower. Two wrought iron gates are in the centre and single wrought iron gates separate the centre structure and the two outer walls.
