Description

1kilometre South of Saddleworth on the Western side of the Burra Road.

 

An avenue of trees. A granite boulder surmounted on a concrete base, a bronze plaque is affixed to the granite face. The avenue of trees originally planted were; Scotch Elms, Canadian Elms, Spreading and Upright Poplars, Alepho Pines, Cluster Pines and Canary Island Pines. Fires have destroyed many of the original trees. The avenue of trees was established 12 August 1920.
