Description

In a reserve at the corner of Memorial Avenue and Orange Avenue.

A pile of three bronze SMLE rifles surmounted on a three-tier rose granite pedestal, that in turn is mounted on a rose granite and a three-tier grey concrete base. A pink paved pathway leads to the monument, immediately in front of the monument is a grey paved cross of sacrifice. Three bronze plaques and a bronze wreath are attached to the centre of the pedestal. The World War 11 plaque was unveiled on 24th April 1948.
