Description

Entrance to the Summertown cemetery, comprising two stone central pillars and two lower outer pillars, joined by a low stone and wrought iron wall. A white marble plaque surmounted by a Cross of Sacrifice is affixed to the face of each of the entrance pillars, a white marble plaque is affixed to the left wall next to the main pillar and a bronze plaque is affixed to the right wall next to the right pillar. A bronze Crusader's sword is affixed to the face of the outer pillars. UPDATE: The gates were restored in 2008.
