Description

The memorial is a stone roll of honour for the First World War, consisting of five panels. It is attached to the side of the steps at the entrance to the grandstand building at Sydney Church of England Grammar School's (S.C.E.G.S.) War Memorial Playing Fields in Northbridge, NSW. Each of the plaques are made of polished granite and contains the names of veterans from the school. The centre plaque contains the names of those veterans who 'Laid down their lives'.
