The William Thompson Masonic School War Memorial commemorates the masons of New South Wales who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.

Inside the 8 mm thick steel surround with the veteran soldiers outlined cut out, there are 4 glass plate panels 12 mm thick with the names of all the New South Wales Masons who died in World War One. Each of the glass panels is 1 meter tall and 1.6 meters wide and behind the memorial there stands the flag pole approximately 6 meters tall. Around the base of the memorial, the surrounding area is planted with Rosemary in a natural bush setting.

IN 1922, THE FORMER WILLIAM THOMPSON MASONIC
SCHOOL AND HOSTEL WAS OPENED ON THIS ESTATE
AND 364 AUSTRALIAN BRUSH BOX TREES WERE
PLANTED TO HONOUR THE FREEMASONS FROM NSW
WHO WERE KILLED IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR.

ETCHED INTO IT ARE THE NAMES OF THE 364 MASONS
FROM NSW WHO DIED IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR.

A COMMEMORATION SERVICE FOR THE FALLEN
IS HELD ANNUALLY ON REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY.
