Description

A white marble memorial, comprising a statue of a soldier standing at "Rest on Arms Reversed", left hand over right, the rifle muzzle on the left boot, surmounted on a capped pedestal in the form of a cenotaph. This in turn is mounted on a two-tier base and concrete slab. Between the cap and the base of the pedestal are four capped pillars at each corner. All details are in black. The memorial is enclosed within a wire mesh fence, lights are located either side of the monument.
