National Reconciliation Week provides a time to pause and reflect on the contribution made to the nation’s military history by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This is important as our first nation’s people have proudly served in all services and the major armed conflicts over the last 122 years. They continue to serve with pride today. Virtual War Memorial Australia has a growing collection of tribute profiles which honour and commemorate the service and sacrifice of the many Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders who have served. We invite you to explore the curated collection below.
