Virtual War Memorial Australia (VWMA) is an independent organisation and registered charity. Although we have been fortunate to secure project funding from time to time through various grants, we do not receive recurrent funding for operating costs from Federal or State Governments, We manage a range of fundraising activities and have been blessed to have the support of generous donors to provide funding for development and general operations of the organisation. Donations play a vital role in ensuring that VWMA is able to continue to work towards its mission of providing a worthy home, in perpetuity, for the records and the stories of the personal experiences of all Australians who have served the nation in times of war and armed conflict and the impact of this service on the individuals themselves, their families and communities.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Basic personal details are required so that we can issue an appropriate receipt for you.
The Privacy Policy covers the collection of personal data relating to donations. No credit/debit card information is held within our system. VWMA will never share this information with any other party and have appropriate security measure in place to protect all data.
