Horace Talmage STARKEY was born in Willowie, South Australia on 9th June 1895

His parents were Frank STARKEY & Margaret May WOODROOFE who married in SA on 20th October, 1890

He enlisted on 7th October, 1916 and embarked with the 32nd Infantry Battalion , 11th reinforcements from Adelaide on 7th November, 1916 on the HMAT Afric

Horace was Killed in Action on 25th June, 1918 and is buried in the Villers Bretonneux Military Cemetery
