My Grandpa
Hi, my name is Sophia. I didn't even know this website existed until I decided to do some research into my grandfather's legacy. I decided that I want to tell my story regarding my life with Douglas.
Growing up on the Gold Coast, I never got to see my grandfather that much, as he lived in Sydney. But when I did, it was the time of my life. Even if it was baking in the kitchen or sitting on the side of a hospital bed listening to his stories, he would always know how to cheer me up. Ever since he passed away (which was at a very young age), my mum would always tell me that I was his little girl. Before I was born, he would always tell my mum how much he wanted a granddaughter and how he would give the world to have one, which I think is why he and I had a connection like no other, and probably why I am next of kin. Although I don't have many memories of my grandfather, I will always love him and try to make him proud from up above.
