Harry Reid attended the Fort Street High School and later graduated from the Law School at Sydney University. He was working as a Civil Servant and living in Drummoyne when he enlisted as a Private in the 2nd Battalion. Harry was in the Anzac Landing and some accounts say he was shot and killed soon after, during the chaotic first few days. However is death is recorded as killed in action, Shrapnel Gully, 2 May 1915. He ahs no known grave.
