Biography

Born in Yarrawonga, Victoria to Robert and Jessie (nee Cameron) McCurdy on the 2nd February 1898.

Was not married when he enlisted on 17th July 1916 (lying about his age). Records say he was 21 and 6 months - actual age was 18.

After service was a Police officer in Melbourne and married Myra Jane (nee Cowley) in Melbourne in 1940 (No children)

He died at Box Hill in 1978
