Daughter of Mr William Andrew MAHONEY and Fanny nee HILL of Nairne, South Australia.

She married Stanley Francis Bruce PENNIFOLD 13 April 1911 in Norwood, SA.

Stanley drowned on 02.02.1913 in Port Clinton when his sailing boat capsized.

After she returned to Australia from war service she gained a position as Matron at the Hutchinson Hospital, Gawler in 1923.

She lived at 17, Twenty First St, Gawler and in 1939 her nephew; William Charles GILBERT was living with her.

In 1948 her father was living with her and died at her residence.

By 1958 she had married Robert William LEWIS and in 1967 she transferred her home to his son Peter, and moved to Parkside.
