Biography

He was the son of Edwin and Hannah (nee Adams) Robinson.

He was a single man.

He was the brother of Charles Henry, Cecily, Arthur Edwin, Alfred Stephen, William Calvert, Thomas Henry and Mary Jane.

There is a memorial to Frank is on the grave of his parent's - Wesleyan Section A, Grave 14 at the Ballarat New Cemetery.

Frank Ernest Robinson (SN 4205) was born in Ballarat and attended Sebastopol State School, the son of Edwin and Hannah (nee Adams) Robinson and brother of Charles Henry, Cecily, Arthur Edwin, Alfred Stephen, William Calvert, Thomas Henry (Dec) and Mary Jane (Hendry). He enlisted in Kalgoorlie, W.A., on 10th January 1916. He was a 31-years-old, single, Miner. He was assigned to the 28th Infantry Battalion and embarked from Fremantle in April. On the 10th June 1918 he was killed in the fighting near Morlancourt, and is buried in the Beacon British Cemetery, Hazebrouck, Belgium.
