Private Clark Lewis McConachy (Service No:V352383) served in the ACMF (Part Time Duty) with 19th Battalion (Vic) VDC from 21 March 1941 to 1 May 1944.

Clark was born in Geelong, Victoria in 1917, third of four children of David McConachy (b1861 at Freshwater Creek, Victoria) and Katherine Anderson (b1886 at Bambra, Victoria). David (a Farmer) and Katherine married in 1909 in Geelong, and lived there and in Winchelsea where David was a Grazier.

Clark was a Farm Manager in Winchelsea and in 1951 was a Farmer at Bolu, Birregurra when he married Gladys Margaret Piper (b1914 in Geelong, Victoria) in Geelong. Clark and Gladys settled at Wordiboluc where they raised their family and Clark was a Farmer. Gladys died in 1992 and Clark in 1993.
